  • Anyone under the age of 18, in possession of a firearm of any type, under Illinois firearm law, is possessing a firearm illegally and will be subject to swift and stringent action if found in possession, for your own safety and the safety of the public.

Register a Vehicle in Illinois

  • The title signed over to you by the previous owner
  • A bill of sale
  • If the vehicle has liens, you must provide the names and addresses of all lienholders (if any)
  • Proof of current Illinois auto insurance
  • Review the Tax RUT-50 chart to determine the amount of taxes that will be due. You will be required to complete a Tax RUT-50 form that may be acquired at your local SOS office.
