The Michigan 7 Day Notice to Quit (Non-Payment), also called a 7 Day Demand for Nonpayment of Rent, is a rental notice used to inform a tenant of unpaid rent which as a result, the tenant will have 7 days to cure the breach. If the tenant decides to move out within 7 days, they may still be liable to pay rent. The state of Michigan provides court approved notices for landlords to use which can be downloaded on the left side of this page.
After completing the form and filling in all the necessary information including the tenant’s name and address, amount of money needed to cure the breach, the landlord’s name and signature, use one of the following methods to serve the tenant:
- The best choice if possible is by personal delivery.
- If the tenant is not present, than to deliver the notice to another adult present on the property that will relay the notice to the actual tenant.
- Send by first class mail to the tenant’s address.

Step 3 – Thsv-servis24.ru then goes on to inform the tenant that they have basic rights to challenge the landlord if they believe they have good reason not to be evicted.
Step 4 – To complete the notice, the landlord must date, sign, and write their contact address.
